Get Spam From Mailinator?:
Please note that the Mailinator system CANNOT send email. It simply does not have the code built in it to do so. If you think you have received email from Mailinator it is a forgery and checking the email headers of the email will prove this (please google on "forge email" to see how easy it is to forge email). Mailinator is a RECEIVE-ONLY service. It can not send.

If you are sending us an email to "stop sending email", please include the headers of the email you have received. (In gmail click "Show original" and in Yahoo click "full headers")
With that we can show you what server the email really came from.

Using Mailinator for Email Testing?:
Many users find Mailinator extremely useful for testing email systems. The combination of instant email receipt and no-login provides a nice test-bed to test systems across many many accounts.

Mailinator still exists largely because a large array of abuse prevention systems - from Spam filters that filter out literally millions of emails per day to web filters that detect people attempting to programmatically game online systems using Mailinator. Any way you slice it, a system like Mailinator relies on its abuse detection systems.

A normal webuser will never encounter these systems. But if you are using Mailinator for testing - you might. Please email sales if you have an interest in using Mailinator for large-scale testing.
